With
any game that has been around as long as World of Warcraft there are
large communities that grow up around it. There are websites that cater
to every part of the game, from Raiding, PVP, Lore (the story of the
game world) and gold making is no exception. Over the last two years
the gold making community has grown and spread across several mediums.
There are blogs, forum communities, pod-casts, YouTube videos and even
streaming events that all support the gold making community. I will
share a few that i frequent most often.
The first being the Undermine Journal (https://theunderminejournal.com) this
website is an invaluable resource to any gold maker. It allows you to
keep track of market prices, competitors, and can help you keep track
of what markets you should be getting into next.
Second is the Consortium (http://stormspire.net/forum.php)
This community focuses on acquiring wealth in games, it is mostly
focused on World of Warcraft, but it does have subsections for Diablo
III and Star Wars the Old Republic. You can glean a lot of information
on gold making from the forums here.
Wow Head (http://www.wowhead.com)
not only is Wow Head useful for information on completing quests it is a
great resource to look up trade-skill recipes, drop locations, drop
rates, and it now has an extensive transmogrification section that show
what specific sets look like.
Disenchanting Azeroth (http://deazeroth.blogspot.com)
This is the site where Keelhaul first shared his analysis of the
various items found in game and discussed his approach of how to find
what looks cool and unique. The transmogrification scene would not be
as big without his involvement.
