Auctioneers and companion pets
A
quick tip for all of you who have dedicated auctioneer alts. I would
suggest you keep a companion pet out when using that character to post
auctions. posting up auctions generates a lot of database calls between
the local game client and the server. Which creates a fair bit of lag.
By keeping the pet out, when you walk back to the mailbox to get the
next batch of goods to sell you can tell when the server has “caught up”
to you by when the pet runs over to stand by you. while the server was
processing all your auction posts, your pet has been over there still
standing by the auctioneer.
