Podcasts to listen to

Here is my list of podcasts I listen to when driving to work, mowing the lawn, and doing household chores.

All things Azeroth
http://www.allthingsazeroth.com/
All things Azeroth is one of podcasts I try to catch weekly.  It is hosted by Medros and Shade.  Medros and Shade play well off each other as they talk about the week’s news  in the World of Warcraft.  Shade writes for WOW insider and is a heroic level raider in her guild.  Medros is a bit more casual in his play style but is just as focused.  Medros is a geek’s geek and I really get laugh when he seems to be channeling the comic book guy on the Simpsons.  If you really want news and enjoyable commentary about World of Warcraft you will enjoy this show.

Auction House junkies
http://www.auctionhousejunkies.com/
The self proclaimed heavyweight champions of gold making podcasts.  Lately they have been a bit in frequent in updating, but I expect that as the expansion comes closer they will be getting more frequent.  Occasionally juvenile but always a lot of fun and informative I really enjoy listening to this podcast.

Convert to Raid
http://converttoraid.com/
I load my MP3 player weekly with new podcasts and Convert to Raid is always one of the first I listen to.   The hosts Zhug, Solarflair and Koltrane are awesome.  Podcast quality has come a long way over the last few years, but Convert to Raid’s quality is at higher level than the vast majority.  The show focuses on raiding, but they are rarely Elitist Jerks.  They really are ambassadors for raiding.

Out DPS
http://outdps.com/
Only the greatest hunter podcast.  Hosted by Euripides, Frostheim, Darkbrew and moderated by the lovely Alisaunder.  The show is hilarious and informative on all news that relates to the Hunter class in World of Warcraft.  They also host large in game events with ridiculous numbers of low level hunters taking out world bosses.  If you are looking for a fun podcast with a fair amount of theory crafting related to hunters I strongly suggest it.

Power Word Gold
http://www.powerwordgold.net/search/label/Podcasts
Probably one of the most informative podcasts running on making gold in the World of Warcraft.  Hosted by Jim Younkin and Faid.  Jim is constantly busy in the gold making community, blogging streaming and hosting this podcast.  Faid is his co host who provides a lot of insight in markets Jim may not be focusing on.  If you want to learn more about gold making in World of Warcraft I strongly encourage checking out this podcast.

Guardian Tank
http://theguardiantank.com/
Really a niche podcast focusing on all things tanking in World of Warcraft.  If you want an informative show on this in game role go no further than checking out this podcast.  And then follow it up with one of the many videos that Eldoric has posted as tanking tutorials on Youtube.

The Instance
http://theinstance.net/
One of the most polished, popular and longer running World of Warcraft podcasts.  The instance lineup has changed over the years.   The show currently revolves around Scott Johnson discussing news pertaining to World of Warcraft with his co hosts Turpster and Dills.  Like all the Frog Pants studios shows the quality of The Instance is high.  If you are looking for a nigh professional quality podcast discussing the week's news in the World of Warcraft and you only have time for one podcast I would strongly suggest the Instance.

Wow Insider
http://wow.joystiq.com/category/wow-insider-show/
The weekly podcast from WOW insider feels like a audio extension of the news coverage on WOW Insider.  The lineup has changed over the years for the WOW insider show, and yet it is as compelling as ever to listen to people who really know the game and enjoy playing it.  They discuss it’s shortcomings as much as it’s advantages.  Expect a lively discussion each week of the news and lore of the World of Warcraft.
