Decided I would micro blog here about gold making in WOW since I find this mini game hidden within the larger MMO experience.
I have always had a fair amount of money in game. I was always the one who paid for everyone else’s epic mounts in vanilla. I attribute this to picking up and selling everything in game as much as to my Scottish nature.
Late in Wrath, when I was starting to look for new ways to entertain myself within game I discovered that there were other players out there who liked to play with the economy simulator r that is the Auction House in WOW.
I first ran across a number of resources on the web first the greedy goblin, moved on to Just my Two Copper, WoWEcon, and most recently Power Word Gold, as well as the forums at the Consortium.
The individuals involved with the resources listed above have all accumulated more gold than me, but some of them no longer play any other part of the game. I dedicate about 15 minutes a day each morning to gold making and have more than I can spend for alts, bank rolling my social guild and spoiling my wife’s characters.
