Characters matter

First off you need to look at your characters and their trade skills .Look at all of your characters, not just your main. Consider what professions your alts have, and what level are they at? Next you need to think about what type of auctioneer you want to be, what is your play-style? Playing the auction house is a subset of the game at large, but within the AH game there are different play styles. I will cover a few that I have identified in a later post. What is your server size, what is your population makeup? Do you have an active farming community? Are you familiar with or use any auction house addons? Do you use external references for playing the auction house in WOW? Lastly what is your motivation? Do you want to go for the gold cap? (current maximum gold any character can have is 1m) Or do you want to be able to get sweet BOE items when they first become available? Or do you just want to be able to afford raid consumables and repair costs?
